VRC Metal Systems business in Rapid City is growing fast.

The company sprays metal on top of other metals to help prevent corrosion or other damage. As of right now the company has already doubled the number of their employees in just one year from 21 to 50.

In addition to more employees, they will also be moving locations to a bigger and better building in Box Elder.

The new 50,000 square foot building will be located in the old Vandenberg Elementary School.

Kim Morey with VRC says the move is not finalized but, should be complete soon.

"When I hired that 50th person there is no slowdown...we are still going. Our projections are by the end of 2018 we should be around 100 employees."

They are hoping to start the move from Rapid City to Box Elder in the Fall.
